Its AWESOME. Seriously. But I am uncertain if it doesnt feel too polished and clean for being abandoned. The broken windows on the back do add a good enviroment... but I am uncertain if that is enough to make it look abandoned. Of course, my critique carries little value as I am not really certain of the circustances on which this ship has been through. If it was abandoned 2 days ago then this is fine... if it was abandoned for a decade... well then perhaps a little bit of dirt could suit it better?. Again, I dont really know its story, so I cant tell.
If you look at the broken windows and frosted glass, it looks like the ship had an explosive decompression - which is why it would look more recently abandoned, because everything got sucked out right in an instant. The ships computers is probably housed somewhere still pressurized and not frozen, which is why the holograms will still work perfectly.
But anyway, concept art has always been a favourite subject to look at. You did a fab job, At! It looks really, really nice.
I agree with Matbag24 and zachgibson22. It doesn't look abandoned. It's to shiny and tidy. The broken windows I only saw cuz Matbag mentioned them. Also the blue display color makes it look clean. Maybe you could ad some yellow or red lights on the displays as it looks more like something is malefunctioning.
Maybe put some large scratch marks, a few broken lights, a hologram struggling to function, a floating instrument (tablet or something), broken wall panels with wires exposed, maybe the chair bent a bit?, broken railings, scorch marks from weaponry (depending), junk floating around the room ( small pieces of metal and rubbish). Otherwise it is very high quality work. Especially the hologram and the background, it just gives off a weird feeling due to everything functional except the windows.
As I already told Zach I didn't want to make it look trashy, just wanted to make it look empty. The windows are not broken, they're little bit frozen because of the gases coming out of leaking pipes. Thanks for the critique
Look really nice! But I don't get an "abandoned" feeling about it other than it's empty! That also could just be me though because when I think of that word I think trashy, dirty, unused for a long time, or just old. But with that said This is probably what a REENTLY abandoned one would look like
